LBN launches "Ten Sports"

LBN has launched Ten Sports, making them the second pay television operator in Sri Lanka to have the full range of sports channels available in this region.

Now LBN subscribers can tune into the very best of WWE Entertainment, Cricket from this region as well as other sports including UEFA Champions League.

LBN is now making preparations to provide "BBC World", "Animax" and several other channels to their subscribers.

LBN adds Australia Network

LBN has added Australia Network to their lineup of channels. This channel is a full English language channel that focuses on entertainment, sports and educational content which is produced in Australia. This is a channel primarily for Australians who are living in this region. It should be noted that this channel telecasts Australian Rules Football and the Tri Nations Rugby matches which was completed recently. This channel was formerly called ABC Asia Pacific.

LBN is the second operator after Dialog TV to introduce this channel.

LBN moving analog channels to digital platform

Some channels from the LBN line up that were only available on the analog platform but not on the digital platform are now being introduced to the digital platform.

The channels Star Gold, Channel V, Zee Trendz are now working on the digital platform and the local channels ETV, Art TV and Max TV are now on the digital platform but have not been activated as yet.

We urge all LBN subscribers to move to the digital platform from the analog platform and enjoy a better entertainment experience where ever the digital plaform is available.

NDTV Profit launched

LBN has launched Indian business new channel NDTV Profit on its Digital service. This is the sister channel of the Indian news channel NDTV 24X7 (this channel is also available on LBN). This expands the total number of channels on LBN Digital to 65.

LBN has more channels in the pipeline which will be launched soon.

Ten Sports : Soon on LBN

LBN will be introducing Ten Sports soon and they have also revised package and installation rates. The new installation and package rates are available on the LBN Website under their "Payments" section.

In addition to Ten Sports they will be introducing several other channels in due course.
