LBN Court hearing postponed to 28th July 2006

Postponement seems to be the name of the game and the LBN Court hearing has now been postponed to Friday 28th July. The reason that has been given is that the TRC needs more information and time.

Well looks like it is going to be another wait and we would seriously like to see a better involvement in the part of the LBN Customers. LBN also seems not be fighting this case hard enough.

We would like if you folks out there can post exactly what happened at the hearing today and the exact reasons for postponement and verify whether the information that we received is acurate. Please keep us updated as the day progresses.

apparently LBN has not been fully legal and the court is taking a dim view on it however in view of all the customers being inconvenienced apparently a temporary license IS going to be issued and a full one WILL follow

the shadowy political figures had nothing against LBN because they don't post a threat to these individuals so it would seem LBN have been victims because of CBN I'm not saying that shutting down either operation is right here just saying what i heard

as users of lbn we have come to know through experience that it IS actually quite the dodgy operation. Stuck by it though since August 2000 cos of the price.

Authorities have refused to issue temporary licenses.

So we will have to wait till they close the applications and finalize the new regulations.

You can imagine the time period especially with the way they run the country these days. Current trend is that
•Ministers draft their own regulations
•Execute it without discussing with relevant parties
•Then the Public oppose it
•President acts as he is not in this country then call the relevant parties
•Amend the regulations and re-execute it
•Opposition announce the financial loss of the same
