LBN Magisterial Court hearing postponed to Nov 9th

We have received an update from LBN regarding their Magisterial Court hearing and looks like it has been postponed to November 9th.

"At the Magisterial Court yesterday (Sept 20th), the case was postponed to 9th November. However LBN can file a motion anytime before that in the event the TRC license is granted. We are expecting the TRC license to be granted on or before the 3rd of October - Shirantha Herath"

Please keep us updated on the latest news regarding LBN as the days progress.

I don't really understand which court is dealing with which particular issue when it comes to LBN but WTF does this mean that the hope we had of service resuming in October is also dashed. I hope LBN files this motion the very minute they get the TRC approval

According to the LBN communication writen in red they have stated TRC to be recived before 15th September after their 11th September court case now they are saying 3rd October, are they just making these dates up? Does anybody know whats going on, everytime it looks like good news it just as quickly turns into bad. What is this case in November, shit it isnt even October and already we are looking to November. I need a cable connection soon. LBN can you post the actual situation and keep your reps updated.

congratulations to the two masterminds behind shuting down the legal cable tv operators in SL. They have successfully disolved the local cable operators and handed the majority of the bussiness to the indians. The government can be proud of our identity now. Most viwers nowadays r hooked directly to india. May be they r working in the interest of the indians. hmm... i wonder

This will drag on forever unless a good lawyer who has guts to question the promises of these authorities.

I don't think that there is any impact to LBN on CBN SC decision, as they have already receievd MoD clearence.

HE has 09 days before 3rd Oct to sign the TRC license. Let's wait & C

Hope LBN is on alert!!!
Yesterday I called TRC to see whether they have forward the application for signature. It seems that they are buying time. Nobody from TRC is aware of the current status of the licenses.
