LBN Appeals Court hearing today

LBN is scheduled to have an Appeals Court hearing today (Jan 9th) and is expected to withdraw all cases against the authorities. We hope that this will be the last court hearing.

We hope and expect an official statement from LBN after this hearing regarding the status of their operations and the expected relaunch of commercial operations.

Disgusted customers

Many days after the so-called test transmission started, not even a fraction of a signal seen in Ratmalana - Moratuwa areas. LBN is taking its customers for a ride.
The sweet voices of customer care drool 'there is a problem, sir..should be ok in a day or two'. A big joke this is. Last week they said by Monday everything will be fine in this area and on Monday they assure us that within this week our screens will light up again..Who's fooling whom?
After the court hearing, we hope the MD will come out of the German Res where he is in hiding.
Come out and tell us -- be a man.

Using coconut pluckers..

How fast CBN got its test tansmission off the ground...what efficieny. Naturally, it is a company which employs people with brains. Our friends need two more weeks..let's give them that cos we have no option but to grin and bear which we did for 7 months. LBN is a shameless company which messed up our lives. Real soup German Res style. that MD fellow should be preparing meals for his customers than trying to run a tv station. He knows only to salt soups..cables must have dissolved..use CBN type of calbes..then it won't happen again. the truth is most of your tech boys have left in disgust and now you have to depend on coconut pluckers to fix cables..
Only the 'gal modayas' are left at LBN to carry the sins of the boss..

Agree with above comments. They are struggling even on their web page.

Just a comment,

CBN doesn't have cables…It is all satellite

Agreed with the earlier comment. The reason CBN was able to come on-line so fast was because it was Satellite and thats the very reason LBN is still struggling. Remember we are all in this mess together and face the same frustration. There is no disputing that LBN has been a passive company so far with it's customer service at a all time low - however, I think we need to give it time to physically check and fix these cables. When they were running (before june)I did not any complaints regarding their service. So, lets hope things will now move at a faster pace now that the legal issues are behind them.
